Notes:Of easy culture and available, this species makes a magnificent specimen when grown well. Not many pendant leaved plants can approach this beauty. In the wild leaves have been reported up to 7 feet long. These longer leaves are apparantly growing on tree limbs which overhang water at lower altitudes. Plants of this species can also be found along the continental divide, but they do not attain such long proportions.
