ABSTRACT:
In 1974 we germinated seeds from open-pollinated flowers of A. scherzerianum which was growing directly below a plant of A. wendLingeri. Two distinct groups of offspring resulted: A. scherzerianum and the species hybrid, A. scherzerianum X A. wendlingeri.
