ABSTRACT:
It is hard to imagine anything more exciting for an aroid enthusiast - in the temperate zone at least - than to discover an area of countryside close to home which is full of non-native species. This is what happened when in the late summer of 1984. I explored some woodland about 5 miles from where I live. on the border between Berkshire and Hampshire in southern England.
