By F. Billiet     (Buy)

ABSTRACT:

The National Botanic Garden of Belgium is famous for its library, herbarium and living collections. The library is one of the major European botanical libraries, and the herbarium is one of the 25 largest herbaria of the world, with many specimens of Araceae including type material and historical specimens. The living collections contain about 18,000 plants of worldwide origin, of which 10,000 are greenhouse plants.
