ABSTRACT:

For most fanciers, growing aroids involves a pot, potting mix, water, fertilizer, the right amount of light and the right temperature. While all of these are essential elements of growing, there are often details in applying each one that can make the difference between success in growing and the rapid loss of a plant. No one would argue that a temperature that is too cold can result in the loss of a plant, but I have found that there are other, more subtle, details in many factors that can change a plant that is just barely hanging on into a thriving, happy specimen.
