I'm currently searching for an a. titanum tuber of
very modest size to add to my tropicals collection and
welcome any suggestions for sources. Will be in
Hawaii in early Sept if any contacts are to be found
there.

You may want to try to contact Mark Collins of Eden Farms, located near
Hilo. I know that he has several young A. titanum; but, whether he is
willing to part with them I do not know. His phone number is (808)
959-7943. It would be best if you contacted him ahead of your trip to
Hawaii since he may not be here when you are. He spends a good deal of time
plant collecting in Thailand and elsewhere.
