Hello,
I have this Alocasia some years now, it is of unknown origin (found the plant in a friend's garden together with A. odora). Flowers resemble A. odora, but the spathe is more pointy towards its apex.
The plant is upright, hardy, forms a "trunk" (much like A. odora, but faster for the same conditions). Leaf blade has a maximum length of 1 meter (3feet) in perfect conditions. Usually half of this.

Hi Marek,
These are certainly popular photographs!
It looks to be a another manifestation of macrorrhizos
(spadix appendix not wider than the male flower zone, spathe limb attenuate and
not fornicate, sinus without leaf tissue.

Dear friends,
My first guess was simply A. macrorrhizos,
but the problem was that I've never seen a real adult plant,
that's why I forwarded the photos here instead of making a page in the ID Center.
However Ms. LariAnn suggested A. brisbanensis and it made me doubtful.
She's been working for many years with this genus, so I can only watch and learn.
