Symmetry in Amorphophallus

Dear Aroid List Members,
I am very interested in symmetry in plants. From viewing many of
the photos availble on the web, the only Amorphophallus species that seemed
to have regular ("perfect") leaf symmetry was A. muelleri, with two leaves
of equal size and shape on each of the three leaf branches of the petiole
trifurcation. Does A. muelleri retain this regular symmetry as it grows,
or is it only characteristic of young leaves? Does anyone know of any
other Amorphophallus species which exhibit this sort of regular symmetry?
