Titanum guessing game..

From: alistair_hay at rbgsyd.gov.au on 1999.05.14 at 02:48:45(3354) Dear Experienced Am. titanum Growers, I am pre-planning for the first flowering Down Under, so we can get big enough containers built in advance that will hold the plants and be able to be manoeuvred to where we plan to display them etc. etc. Our plants are from seed sown in 1993, the largest leaf has a petiole 4.5 inches diameter at soil level and 6.5 feet long. Still a baby of course, but the growth increments between leaves have been spectacular, though I haven't recorded them. Any predictions as to how many more leaves before flowering?? Alistair Hay
