Re re Fungus gnats

They have been growing now at drying conditions but still the gnats. Malathion, diazinon, and other sprays/drenches are only temporary, cannot do with every watering. Mothballs strategically placed however, recently have been doing the trick. Maybe some cinnamon powder ( good for those unfortunate rots - no problem at this time) may also have insect repellant properties.
