Since your using so little you may not see it, in which case you might as well just use water. Needless to say, if you use alcohol of any kind, use very little. Any chemists out there? Regarding Ph, you're always safe around 7 give or take. We have very basic water here in Tucson and all my plants do well... ..except that one protea.
