ABSTRACT:

As Las Cruces lies only a few miles from the border of Panama, the plants found in the adjacent Panamanian highlands are just as much a part of our local flora as are those of Costa Rica. Therein lay the opportunity for two most enjoyable collecting trips to Panama.
