ABSTRACT:

In South India, Arisaema is represented by ten species, including six varieties. One species, hitherto known as Arisaema auriculatum Barnes, is quite rare. It is distinguished by having ony a single compound leaf with sessile, radiate leaflets and a slightly bent, irregularly corrugated tip of the sterile appendix.
