From: Don Burns <burns at mobot.org> on 1997.03.10 at 15:35:56(474)
Aroiders,

A. warocqueanum has been a topic of interest recently on the list. A
definitive description of the plant and its cultivation requirements are
found in detail in _Curtis's Botanical Magazine_,Vol. 12, Part 3, August
1995, beginning on page 127. The article is authored by none other than
Peter Boyce. This issue is devoted entirely to the Araceae and has
excellent color plates for each genus.species featured.

It is reported that Agristarts II is attempting to Tissue culture a cultivar
of this plant however it is too early to know if they have actually
succeeded in doing so. Also in the works Anthurium veitchii.I'm not holding
my breath waiting for this to happen. I'm still waiting for mine to make
seeds....it may be awhile.

Ron, since you joined the IAS in 2001, I am not sure how you have a members
handbook. The last one came out in 1998 and we hope to get a new one out in
2003.

If you desire information on another IAS member, you can check the members
page http://www.aroid.org/aroiders/index.html, you can also contact Scott to
have your name and information added to the list.
