GA-synthesis inhibitors

From: StroWi at t-online.de (StroWi) on 2002.02.05 at 15:41:18(8178) Aroiders, is there something known, if inhibitors of gibberelic acid synthesis like flurprimidol, ancymidol or paclobutrazol will shorten the petiole of one of the big Amophophallus or other tall Araceae, without disturbing the regular life cycle incl. blooming? If the plants respond, it might be a possibility to grow the tall ones to blooming size in smaller greenhouse. Any comment welcome! +More Good growing, Bernhard.
