solitary vs multiple leaves in Amorphophallus
From: "Peter C Boyce" levieux.jardin at wanadoo.fr> on 2003.08.16 at 15:35:58(10488)
Dear All

I have been thinking some more about the single vs multiple leaf in Amorphophallus and have to say that with the exception of 'evergreen' species that habitually carry more than on leaf (e.g., rhizomatosus, glossophyllus (is that still the correct name, Wilbert?)) and Pseudodracontium, I cannot recall EVER having seen an Amorphophallus in the wild carrying more than one leaf. Intriguing.

Pete
