  Philodendron 'Angra dos Reis'.
From: criswick at spiceisle.com (criswick) on 2008.06.07 at 01:58:58(17775)

Steve, here is a photo of the plant I believe is probably the same as that
illustrated in Exotica under the name P. 'Angra dos Reis'. I think you will
agree that it is most unlike the unidentified philodendron of which you
posted a photo.

John, NOT TO ME! I've always found your observations to be valued! I just don't hear your "voice" all that often! Please, chime in. You have developed a wealth of knowledge!

All I'd like to know now is does this plant have a species name? I've sent my photos to Eduardo and hope he can tell us more!

And thanks!

Steve

Dear friends,

This species is P. cordatum. Very common around Angra dos Reis.

Thank you very much Marcus. Can you say who described it?

John Criswick.

Thanks Steve. As you have seen, Marcus is saying that it's P. cordatum. I
look forward to hearing Eduardo on this.

John.
