  Monstera fruits

Jim,

Once our Monstera escaped its pot and got a few roots into the floor
of the greenhouse it started flowering and fruiting regularly. Late
spring and summer, if I recall. We don't pollinate it, so either it
self-pollinates or something local does the job.

Unfortunately the fruits are almost always low and something -
insects, birds, and once a groundhog - always gets them before I do,
so I haven't tasted it either.

I'll try to keep an eye out this year and protect a few fruits when
they start to form and maybe we can both try them.
