FIRST DRY POLLEN BEFORE YOU FREEZE IT, either under a lamp for 24 to 36 hours or in a warm wind protected spot for 3 days, pollen containing moisture can burst its cells when freezing,LOSING ITS VIABILITY. No2. CORRECT WAY TO STORE POLLEN, fill a test tube or similar container (film spool plastic container gel capsule) 1/2 full with moisture drying crystals, place DRIED pollen anthers containing the pollen in paper NOT plastic(pollen still needs air) roll up and insert in container, be sure it seals properly, the pollen thus treated can be kept in the fridge for 2 to 3 months,or frozen for use in years to come. No3.THAW THE POLLEN ,to room temperature before use,approximately 1/2 an hour, all plants respond well to their respective frozen pollen that has been treated properly.
