Heat and lack of humidity on Amorphs
From: "Nyles" metopium at hotmail.com> on 2001.06.13 at 15:03:10(6706)
Hello again!

The Arizona temps are pushing the 110 degree mark (about 43 degrees C), and
do hit near 120 (49 degrees C), with very low relative humidity for much of
the time.

Konjacs do well in the dry heat here, as does
paeoniifolius.
Odoratus and bulbifer both get leaf curl and
browning which stops
progressing if I bring them inside.
In fact konjac can almost take full Arizona sun, low
humidity, and heat,
better than our plumerias!

Where do you think titanum falls in this spectrum?
Can anyone recommend other varieties, or rule out others that won't make it
here?

Many thanks (again)!

Nyles
