  Another Tacca question
From: "Randall M. Story" story at caltech.edu> on 2002.05.24 at 19:28:59(8875)
Hi again,

I just wanted to add another Tacca question. Tacca leontopetaloides (the
species that Dewey Fisk mentions was once thought to be related to
Amorphophallus--he also sells it) is apparently sold for food as some sort
of arrowroot. I seem to remember at least two types of "arrowroot" for sale
at the local Asian supermarkets. Does anyone know whether I am likely to
find it and what it might be called?

Thanks,

Randy
