Aroids in the public aquarium

ABSTRACT:

As every hobbyist knows, aquatic plants are both an aesthetic and a desirable complement to tropical fish tanks in the home. However, in the average public aquarium where individual tank capacity may be measured in thousands of gallons, decorative plants are usually either made of plastic or else notable by their absence, a fact on which visitors often comment.
