Arisaema: Cobra Lily Wonders

Arisaema is a large and diverse genus of the Araceae family, comprising about 212 species of tuberous perennials native to Asia, Africa, and North America. Known as cobra lilies in Asia and Jack-in-the-pulpits in the West, these plants feature striking hooded spathes over a central spadix and exhibit sequential hermaphroditism, shifting sex with changes in size and nutrition.
