Howdy!

I got a hold of Mike yesterday.  A really nice guy! he quit his academic life to become a farmer. He has asked to be informed about the next West Coast IAS meeting, and plans on attending.

Happy days!

Take a look at the early history of the IAS, especially the early history of Aroideana.  Mike is a prominent figure in the early days of the IAS.  Anything you can do on your end would be much appreciated.

I sent Mike a note on Saturday but so far no response.

What I find interesting about the search for this guy, is that I have not heard of him, yet I have seen him several times at the Davis Farmer=E2=80=99s Market having no clue he was a botanist.
