Most likely a Typhonium =2C I got a few tubers of a much larger sp.from the Northern Territory
a few years ago .
They can be very difficult to keep alive . Probably be 10 years before we got a name for it .
Alistair Hay is in Columbia at the moment =2C he might have a comment to make on it later .

>=3B I've seen several web hits today on this topic=2C all of which seem to wind
>=3B up at the same text. The articles all call the plant an "arum lily"=2C don't
>=3B give a genus or other botanical information=2C say that it was found in the
>=3B Kimberly region by Matthew Barrett (Perth's Kings Park &=3B Botanic Garden)
>=3B along with other various new species in that remote area=2C and that the
>=3B infloresence smells of burnt electrical wire.

>=3B The picture is *an* aroid=2C but no idea if it's that aroid=3B one of the
>=3B other articles showed a picture of Zantedeschia aethiopica with the same
>=3B text.
>=3B
>=3B Anyone happen to know more about this? I dug through the KP&=3BBG web site a
>=3B bit but didn't find anything.
