why do I turn brown

They seem to produce a new leaf and soon afterwards the leaf begins to turn a brown at no particular area. As soon as a new leaf emerges the one that was turning brown falls off. I believe it has to do with water but am not sure. The area that is brown seems to be moist. I try not to overwater. I would appreciate any help, Thanks, Albert

'Fluxshing' the pots every now and then with LOTS of water will help, but a change of the brand (ask on the list which are best) is better. If this is NOT surface wetness, you may be looking at a bacterial problem. When watering try to keep the water off of the leaves. Water early in the day and not in the afternoon or evening. Look into the treatment of bacterial problems........maybe?
