Leaf variability in Amorphophallus prainii

Below are three seedlings of A.prainii. All different. The one that is closest to its description in Aroideana, Vol. 19, has broad elliptic leaflets (length:width no more than 4:1), not particularly highly dissected (24 leaflets, with total leaf area estimated to be about 30% of the circle into which it would fit), petiole marked just as described in the last Aroideana (whitish spots with reddish centers, numerous dark small spots all over). The overall character of the leaves is similar to A. paeonifolius.

Another one has narrow lanceolate leaflets (length:width about 8:1), much more disected (55 leaflets in a same-sized plants), total leaf area likely less than 20% of the circumscribed circle), petiole darker, spots uniform, with very faintly discernible small spots all over). The overall leaf character sowhat similar to A.henryi, except the leaves are narrower and longer in proportion.

The third one is somewhat similar to the second one, except less leaflets and less leaf area.

	After about half a year, one seedling appears to be in full agreeemen with the description of the species in the Aroideana.
	This one has leaflets much narrower than they should be. Also, the stem pattern is a bit dissimilar.
	This one looks yet different. Yes, it is much darker green than the one above. The stem is similar, though.
