Here in the south west UK which is zone 9 in comparison my alocasias this year (odora, denudata, gaganea, sarian, portei, macrorrhizos and wentii) all bar the mac and gaganea have been reticent to come out from dormancy much at all. In fact odora is only on its third leaf now, wentii and denudata only have one in 3 months.
