Origin of the plant in the photos: Sunnyvale Nursery

This plant has been identified by Dr. Alistair Hay.

I think I saw something similar called "Elaine", which might be a horticultural cultivar of this species originating in Borneo.

The leaves have rather angular shape that I haven't seen in any other alocasias. This is especially well visible at the top of the middle leaf in this photo. The leaves are dry to touch, resembling A.cuprea or A.guttata imperialis.
