Arisaema Hardiness Ratings
Revised 2/5/98
Here is a bit of information that has been collected as to which arisaemas can be successfully wintered over outdoors. The less hardy types can be easily grown in colder climates by lifting the corms in the fall and storing them in a cool place, such as your refrigerator, for the winter. Replant them in the early spring and you're set for another season. Deep planting (up to 12 inches deep) is another option to keep them below the frost line.
This is by no means an exhaustive list, and is only intended to give guidance as to which species might do well in your area. No guarantees!!
