Erin,

thanks forposting that file!

And thanks that youstated where it came from.

It is probably toolate to gather the infromation where the statements within that fileoriginate from; I find it always very helpful to know the originalsource.

Part of that list comesobviously from snow:

http://www.snowsexotics.com/dormancytable.htm

and that table uses partly infos from:

http://www.aroid.org/genera/amorphophallus/amcult.php

I did not check the whole table, but it shouldbe concidered that Lord P.(recise) gave some observations on thedormancy/storage issue that corrected his former statements within theamcult.php (obove); see:

http://www.hort.net/lists//aroid-l/sep07/msg00061.html

Nevertheless - happy storing,

Bernhard.

Well, I didnt write it. But it is very nice none the less!I was hoping that by submitting it here, maybe we could use ourcollective knowledge to fill in some of the blanks. And even add a columfor growth requirements because some amorph's are very different in thatthey go dormant when it gets hot instead of the other way around likemost other plants. This list was emailed to me from a friend in Russiaand he got it from a friend in Germany, from there I dont know who elsemay have had it or who wrote it. So I figured I'd post it here and sharethe wealth of knowledge contained within and see if maybe we can expoundon it. Otherwise just enjoy it and feel free to pass it along to any ofyour frinde that may be interested in it.

I have attached afile that contains a list of over 200 Amorphophallus spp. It needs moreinfo and maybe the addition of a few more spp. It has loads of helpfulinformation already. I was thinking of adding a column for growingrequirements, light, heat, water, etc. If anyone is interested inhelping the please feel free, otherwise please enjoy the informationalready there. This is an excell spreadsheet.
