Dear Steve :  Your plant has norelationship to Philodendron rubrocinctum Engl.  Phil. Rubrocinctum isrelated to P. nanegalense  but I don’t know it.  It is fromCauca Dept. at Belalcayar at 1000 m.  It has scaly petioles,  Yourplant apparently does not.

Do any of you knowanything about a Columbian species known as  PhilodendronrubrocinctumEngl. published in 1899?  I have a specimen but can't find out a singlething!
