From: ExoticRainforest <Steve at ExoticRainforest.com> on 2009.02.10 at 06:02:18
Zach, it just dawned on my yourplant might be Philodendron squamiferum due to the redpubescence (hair) on the petioles.  Take a look at the photo I attachedof a juvenile specimen as well as the link below.

I recently purchased aplant labeled Philodendron ‘pincushion.’ I can’t seem to find this name listed in any of the reliable Aroiddatabases. The plant is very small, with leaves measuring 1-2 cm inlength.  Stemsare red and leaves are a dark green.  Does anyone know the correctbotanicalname for this plant?

Here is a good generalpicture of the plant: http://i4.ebayimg.com/05/i/001/2a/4a/24e1_1.JPG

And here’s a lousy one ofmy ailing specimen: http://flickr.com/photos/zdufran/3218641930/

Thanks-
