Ive had good results applying Bayers 3in1 systemic Rose and flower care on diseased tubers. it fertilizes, kills bugs and disease.

Hello Aroiders,
=0A

=0A
A few years ago I got a plant of Xanthosoma =0Aviolaceum.
=0A
Its leaf blades were about 15 cm (6") =0Along.
=0A
I cultivated this at home in normal conditions and =0AI was repotting it every spring.
=0A
This winter it began to produce more and more small =0Aleaves. One of the tubers lost all of them.
=0A
I append a photo. Each leaf is smaller than the =0Aprevious one - the newest is 2.5 cm (1") long.
=0A
Did it fell into dormancy or is it =0Adying?
=0A
The corms and the roots are healthy, so what can be =0Athe reason?
=0A

=0A
Here are some photos how it looked =0Abefore:

=0A
I remember I had the same problem with Alocasia x =0Aamazonica and A. reginae,
=0A
in winter it had small leaves, and it =0Adied.
=0A
I think it may be caused by too low air =0Ahumidity.
=0A

=0A
Best,
=0A
