Most people think of Marantaceae as being tropical, but our native Thalia dealbata, which is about 8' tall, is hardy to zone 5 and makes a spectacular focal point in a water garden.

Subject: [Aroid-l] OT; Marantaceae

Does anyone know of a good source for unusual and large species of Marantaceae?  Im looking for larger growing and preferably non-variegated species.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks,
Michael Mattlage
