Hello, Ferenc and Marek,

Your plant looks a lot like one that I have that I gotfrom the local university called =E2=80=9CSyngonium chiapasense=E2=80=9D. See the attachedphoto (resized smaller). It also bleeds white. However, I cannot find the nameon TROPICOS or MOBOT or in any literature on the genus.

I am very interested to learn the correct name of thisvery fast growing species. I will start researching S. macrophyllum.

Best,

Christopher

Hello,

Firt of all I'm terribly sorry for loading the list withsuch a big mail. I haven't realized its size, I

just added the attachments one after the other withoutreducing their size. Next time I will

take care of it.

Thank you for all the answers. Yes, it has a white sapwhen cut. So it must be the juvenile

form of a Syngonium sp., possibly S. macrophyllum.

The unknown plant on the aroid webpage mentioned by MarekArgent is very similar,

however, it has a shiny surface while the upper surfaceof the leaves of my plant is slightly

velvety.

If anybody is interested in the attached pics, I havereduced their size and put them on the

Internet. Here are the links:
