I madethe experience too and had to learn that especially small tubers arehardly to rescue once they start to rot; the cut surface after cleaningis probably too large in relation to the small tuber'svolume. Low temperatures ( < 20 =B0C / 68=B0F) during dormancy are probably very critical, too. And keeping titanum totally dry during dormancymight make them prone to rotting, too. Anddon't worry about the prices of the big titanums at ebay; just wait forsmaller ones....
