Ihave a proposal to make to the International Aroid Society board of directorsin September and would enjoy feedback from all that subscribe to Aroid l. Please don't think you shouldn't respond just because you haven't joined theIAS.........yet. Part of the proposal is to hopefully give you morereasons to want to join but no one is going to be calling you or flooding yourinbox with mail!

Would everyone receiving these posts today hit "reply" right now and tell us what stateor country you live in? If you are willing, please also tell us whatgenera of Araceae you enjoy growing and if you have specific suggestions as tohow the IAS can serve you personally please add a brief note.

If nothing else, please let us know what part of the U.S. or world is yourhome.

Thanks to all and please do consider joining your fellow aroiders on September19 and 20 at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Miami, FL! There willbe lots of aroids to peruse and take home, great presentations, a wonderfultropical garden with a living rain forest to explore and great food at theSaturday night dinner! Besides, Dr. Croat does great presentations!
