Sincerly,i really doubt that alocasia x 'amazonica'was only create in late 1950...I have an old horticulture books were hybrids like x 'chelsonii',x'sedenii',x 'chantrierii',x'amazonica' and few others are described.the book was edited last 1940 i think (i have to check).All these hybrids seem to coming if i remember well from last 19 century,beginning of 20th century...But i have to check in the book to be sure.i will let know if i'm true or not...-------boundalter150977----===============4583092778425527667==
