Nancy,

Feel free to post photos on the list - that's part of why it exists.

There's an amazingly wide range of knowledge present here, and not just within aroids.

Dear Friends,

?

We have a number of aroids in our ?rainforest? housing our live butterflies.? Some of them have lost their labels, others were acquired randomly over the years, etc., so there are a number for which we do not have identifications.? I imagine most of them will be fairly common species, but I am not an aroid expert?? Would it be okay for me to post photos on this listserve to see if other members can identify them for us (we are trying to identify and label all of our plant collection)??

?

If not, does anyone have a suggestion for an all-around aroid expert to whom I could send photos of our unnamed specimens?

?

Thank you all very much!

Cheers,

Nancy

Subject: [Aroid-l] anthurium plants bare root from Ecuagenera

?

Hello all, I know one of you will be able to guide me! ?I got some Anthurium plants from?Ecuagenera last night, and of course they are bare root. ?I planted them all in a very well drained soil less mix, and fertilized them with KLN as a root stimulant. ?I hope I did the right thing and if there are additional things I should do PLEASE let me know. ?They are under lights but not close to them, they will not burn. ?They are with a lot of other plants so they should get some humidity from them but of course they are indoors. ?Houston is chilly this time of year! ?

Thank you and hello and hugs to all of you that I know!!!

Jill?
