Hello

Can anyone please advise me if philodendrons can be grown outside in sheltered areas in central florida, such as Orlando? I believe Orlando is classified as 9A and 9B an I've seen pictures of large Philodendron selloum and Monstera deliciosa growing in Orlando.
I ask as I am unfamiliar with the US and am living in Manchester UK but may visit Orlando. I realize Miami is zone 10A and 10B and would have a lot more tropical aroids growing outside, however, my link is to Orlando.
