Another A. konjac Question

From: ManFont at aol.com on 1998.10.08 at 21:18:40(2667)
Thanks again for all the informative posts!
One of my A. konjac plants has a stalk about 2 inches in diameter at the base.
It is totally yellow now but is still turgid (standing up). Are the
fluids/nutrients in this stalk still feeding the tuber, or is it OK to cut it
off now.
