  The Huntington Titan on QTVR
From: "Scott Hyndman" hyndman at magicnet.net> on 1999.08.03 at 23:12:46(3559)

I received the message below today about the titan blooming at the the
Huntington. Thanks to the technical genius of Kimon Onuma, the next best
thing to being at the Huntington is to have a QuickTime virtual reality tour
of the event! Go to http://onuma.com/VR/flower/ and you can get a very
unique online experience of the blooming. It is remarkable how different
the flower morphology is of this specimen as compared to the previous
blooming specimens. I even heard a report on National Public Radio this
morning about the blooming.

Happy surfing, Scott

I saw the flowering titan on the national news last night, and it's the
most incredible thing I have ever seen, without a doubt. Check it out if
you haven't seen it yet, it's the aroid event of all aroid events!
