Aroiders,
I received the message below today about the titan blooming at the the
Huntington. Thanks to the technical genius of Kimon Onuma, the next best
thing to being at the Huntington is to have a QuickTime virtual reality tour
of the event! Go to http://onuma.com/VR/flower/ and you can get a very
unique online experience of the blooming. It is remarkable how different
the flower morphology is of this specimen as compared to the previous
blooming specimens. I even heard a report on National Public Radio this
morning about the blooming.
Happy surfing, Scott

To the webmaster:
The world's largest flower is in bloom at the Huntington Gardens, right in
Southern California.
If you are interested, we have a QTVR file of the amorpholphallus plant at
the Huntington in full bloom. A QTVR file is a navigable file that the user
manipulates. The webmaster at the Huntington will make a link later today,
however, if interested, you may link to it directly at
http://onuma.com/VR/flower/
