  Costa Rican Aroids
From: "Wallace Wells" <wwells at idt.net> on 1997.02.19 at 17:08:14(395)
I got back from a vacation in Costa Rica a
few weeks ago and took some snaps of aroids.

Two of the best ones were of an especially
attractive alocasia and another of a philodendron
that plasters its leaves against the tree trunk.

Look at:

Any botanical ID's appreciated.

The Alocasia is... A. cuprea, a transplanted Asian plant. The other is,
possibly, either a juvinal Monstera or a Marcgravia sintenisii (not an
aroid)
