  Typhonium lineare
From: "James W. Waddick" jim-jim at swbell.net> on 2000.07.15 at 03:03:33(5117)
Dear Wilbert (and all);
While on the subject of T. violifolium....
I kindly got a bulb of this species from you and I am pleased
to see it has made two very linear-digitate leaves and flowered with
a very long narrow spathe and a spadix to match. No odor detectable,
but quite interesting.

Care to add any comment on growth, eventual size etc. ?

And where is this cute thing from ?

Many thanks for the generosity.

Jim W.

Typhonium lineare is from Vietnam, has not yet been published scientifically
but is in the pipe-line. Like so many Typhos, it isn't a thing of great size
but this particular species is ornamental because of its grassy leaves. I
guess the leaves won't get much higher than 30 cm (sorry for going
metric........).
