My friend, Julius Boos, needs a translation of the following and pardon me
if I have any of it misspelled.....

"Soll nach Regel's Angabe in der Gartenflora von Appon aus Brasilien
eingesendet worden sein, nach mundlicher Angabe wahrscheinlich aus
Venezuela stammen. Bluhte zuerst min Juni 1864."

This is from some research that he is doing. Any assistanc will be
appreciated and forwarded to Julius.

Thanks,
Dewey

Wilbert, thank you very much. Now I know what it really says.
Interesting, Appun, as matter of fact had never collected in
Venezuela. In 1864, he collected near Mt. Roraima area in Brazil.
There are too publications of Appun's travel in S. America. But our
library don't have them. Guanghua

Here is an attempt, Dewey:

It should have been sent from Appon in Brasil, according to comments from
Regel in (his journal) Gartenflora, but according to verbal comments it
probably originated in Venezuela. Bloomed for the first time in June 1864.
