I have dozens of Sauromotum from several sources which flower each spring in
or out of soil. One is now flowering in the ground in late October here in
New York. Is this unheard of, or merely unusual?

they (Sauromatum) occasionally come out of dormancy for me also when we have
a brief cool in aug/sept. Not too unusual here on Long Island. My Pinellias
are also coming up now.

I have grown thse plants for several years but have never
bloomed in the fall. I have other plants that usually
only bloom in the spring but are blooming this fall too.
