Although rock phosphate is mined and "organic gardeners" use that and
green sand, a potassium source, neither is by any sensible definition is
"organic". Although I sympathize with some of the concerns of organic
gardeners, many mined materials and many naturally occuring true organic
materials contain toxic materials, many more toxic than human made
materials.
