  Selby Amorphophallus titanum flowering
From: SelbyHort at aol.com on 2001.05.30 at 14:36:13(6615)
Selby is experiencing a re-flowering of one of the Amorphophallus tianum that
previous bloomed in May 1999. This is the second reflowering recorded this
summer, the first was at Fairchild just a couple of weeks ago. Both plants
were grown from the same seed batch.

Check out Marie Selby's web site at: www.selby.org
They have a web cam up today.

Pretty exciting here in Wisconsin, too. The A.t. at
the UW-Madison is flowering.

How exciting! Especially since I just flew from Wisconsin (about 50 mi from
Madison) to Miami to see Mr. Stinky bloom.
But he was cool, Craig and Tricia were cooler, and I had a great time.
A belated thank you to Craig, Tricia and Dewey for being so nice to me on my
trip. I had a blast!
If you want to come to WI let me know- but the cats must stay home, Tricia
(a BIG dog lives with me)
