I received my copy today here in Raleigh, NC, USA. At a quick glance, it
looks to
be some good reading tonight.

Thanks in advance to those members contributing articles and all the folks
behind
the scene that make this newsletter possible.

Thanks Alan,

1st JULY!

Glad you finally got 23(1)! Don't know about Europe or Asia? It is
taking longer to deliver by snail mail than it did to produce! I have only
I think been involved as Editor since the first week of May and the work was
in the printer-mailer pipeline by the very beginning of June! To me it
demonstrates the advantage of emailing the "news" direct to these members on
line. That format can be in colour at no extra production expense.... If
you feel strongly about these things please email me. Anyway thanks for the
appreciation. Who else hasn't had their hard copy yet? 23(2) August
issue should be emailed to the States in the last week of July. I'll keep
you posted. ?

Best Wishes

Ron Iles

Hi All,
This is the worst delivery time we have ever had. The Newsletter went to
bulk-mail(USA) on June14, To TNT (International) on June 16. I have not
heard from any of our International Members, so I assume nothing has been
delivered. If and when you do get your copy, please check your mailing
labels for the expiration date of your membership. We sent to all our
members from 2000 and 2001. Ron is working very hard to get us caught up and
back on schedule.

Thank you Tricia, Scott & Team for the equally hard work in following up the
transmission of the June Issue. We are ALL trying very hard to get back on
schedule. So thanks for the thanks. It should go to the whole Team &
contributors who work so incredibly hard not just for the "News" & Aroideana
but for the IAS Web Site & Links. The next newses will bring us back at
least on schedule.

Hi there Jason!

Sorry, only became Ed in May, then the email daisy chain to the lil' old US
of A, then the daisy chain to the lil' ole printer, then dynamite TNT, and
you keep moving about? Do you know I haven't
seen it either, but it's comin'. Hang in there, and tell you wot - I'll can
always send email previews if that would be OK? We all REALLY done our
best of best. This delay may be fortuitous. It could even make some
folks want frequent dialogue newsletters by email so that THEY print it out
in colour? Wot do Ye think about that folks?

Luv to all

Ron

Hi Tricia,

Wasn't able to let you know on time that my Newsletter arrived over a week
ago, so international is working fine for me in the UK. Thanks to you and
all concerned for prompt delivery and of course excellent content too. Do I
take it that my membership is expired because it said 2000 on the label? I
will check but thought I was up to date with dues.

You mean, pay for colored ink and additional printer paper, AFTER having paid my dues? That would depend on how the money IAS saved in printing costs was used instead.

May I echo Deni on this. My newsletter label also indicates I'm
not paid up for 2001 but I am pretty sure I am (as journal editor
I do TRY to set an example...!!)
